The
Mosque is under development and requiring wudu facilities etc and need
the help of the ummah to donate as much as you can to help build this
mosque quickly as possible because Blackpool is a major tourist attraction in Blackpool and people from around the world come and visit
and then find out there is not a mosque but at the moment we have made a
very small mosque for the community but the community is growing
rapidly hence we need to make it a lot bigger for this fast growing congregation so please donate generously.
Dear Brothers and Sisters We are looking to build this mosque with all our assets along with fundraising.
· We are putting our takeaway in to the mosque which we have paid 3 years morgage on around £20,000
· The takeaway is worth £200,000 including good will so from that we are also putting in ££85,000 from profit etc.
· House in Nelson We are selling or giving in exchange for funding for mosque which is worth £70,000
· We are all working to put all our spare money in to this worth full cause.
· Voluntary running Arabic , Urdu and Calligraphy classes.
· Arranging MiladUnNabi and Eid Events etc.
· Voluntary working in local Council to promote Islam
· Planning to get an Illuminations with KabaShareef up in 2012
The
Masjid is appealing to the community to donate generously for the
purchase of 4 shops on Waterloo Road. The size of the area is 105
foot by 75 foot .The full amount needs to be raised by July 2012.
Funds can be donated via lillah, qardh-e-hasana (interest free
loan), standing order or direct debit..
Amongst the uses the masjid intends for the properly are:
· Dedicated educational facilities for sisters
· Structured classes and courses
· Further advanced studies for scholars and ustadha’s
· Expansion of the current Madresah
· New advance-studies Madresah for teenagers
· Islamic Library including research library for scholars
We also want to Have a Multi cultural hub for non Muslims and Muslims in which we would have :
· Milad Un Nabi
· Kul Nabi tha Milad
· Yarmishareef
· Maharam Special every year
· Multi faith Library
· Lessons on Death
· Lessons on Nikah
· Nikah facilities i.e. special stage etc.
· Washing of dead bodies and cooler room
· Children’s Islamic football team
· Art and Calligraphy classes
· Islamic Nursery
· Revert specialists
· TV station
· Radio station
· Islam tube Internet social site
· Classes for schools
· Weekly events i.e. every Thursday evening for sisters and brothers.
· Eid Festivals
· Chand Raat Festivals.
· Islamic Directory every Year with all useful address and numbers
These are just some of the services the masjid intends to provide over the coming years.

The funds can easily be raised if 250 people gave £2000 each or;
500 people gave £1000 each or; 1000 people gave £500 each or; 2000
people gave £250 each. These are simply examples of how the money
can be raised – any amount is greatly appreciated. If paying a lump
sum is too burdensome you can spread it over a year or 2. I.e. if
you wish to pay £500 you can set up a standing order for £20 per
month for 2 years, or £10 per month for 4 years – making it easy for
even youngsters to donate.
This would get us very close to our target inshallah.

Qardha-e-Hasan /Interest free loan
A
loan can be given to the Masjid for a fixed amount of time. Once
that time has elapsed the full amount will be returned to you.Gif AidIf
you are a UK tax payer the Masjid can claim an additional 28% on
top of your donation from HMRC. You need to sign a declaration in
person in order for the Masjid
to
claim this. For every £1 you donate the Masjid can reclaim 28p in
tax from HMRC making your total donation £1.28p. So if its £100 the
Masjid will get £128.
Muslims
in the UK constitute a minority living in a society undergoing
far-reaching changes. The mosque stands as an important role ofa Muslim
identity and community integrity. Mosques have not only played a vital
and meaningful role as the focus of religious activities, but also as
centres for social and educational programmes.
• Phase 1- Purchase of properties complex: £450.000
• Phase 2 - Conversion of rear part for Islamic schools: £100.000
• Phase 3 - Purpose built mosque, after semi demolition of old shop front buildings (within 18 months to 3 years) the rest of money.
We urgently need to raise £995.000 to complete the purchase of the shop complex by 1st Dec 2010. If we fail to achieve this target not only
will we lose this opportunity to acquire such an ideal investment for
the Muslim community.
We urge the entire community to assist us
in this noble cause by donating generously, by giving Qarz-E-Hasnah
(interest free loans) and by introducing us to other potential donors.
Importantly we also request special prayers from everyone so that Allah
(Subhanahu’wa’ta’alah) makes the task easy for us, Insha’Allah.
